« T’inquiètes pas. » on te dit. On t’explique comment faire.

« La main sur le manche, oui, comme ça, puis tu fais ce geste là. T’accompagnes le mouvement, ok ? Faut que ce soit rapide et sec, mais tendre et doux. Aime ta crêpe, comme un bébé. Doucement, d’accord ? T’as pigé ? »

« Soit patient. »

In my previous post I explored the denunciation of the current identity search issue as being misdirected.

A development of my theory of the conscious and subconscious spheres would be the interpretation of my meditative deductions and experiences.

As starters, I would like to describe the meditative process.

Meditation in my terms would be the focusing of concentration on the sphere’s center points. These are found by mere ‘listening’, or paying attention, to their manifestations. I have found them to be located as such (these are what I feel — they may differ depending on the person/Universe):

I first of all would like to define the term Energy, because of the many connotations that it has been subject to in the discussion of spirituality and such.

Energy is simply Substance, a manifestation that differs from atomic structure. Its existence is irrelevant in the context of the world we live in because it is relevant to the Universe my perception is subject to.

PLEASE NOTE: you cannot apply concepts on superposed Universes because they are integrally different to each other. The only common ground is my consciousness and my perception. These are the spheres that create a bridge from one Universe to another.

When meditating, I focus my attention onto these Energies. I first enter the “emotional sphere”(this term isn’t adequate…) of physical sensitivity and the boundary of my perception. This overwhelmed my body into a vibrating sensation that allowed me to feel the boundary of my sphere. I tried extending it but found it very difficult to overcome the speculative level of will into in order to reach action.

This phase created a drop in cognitive levels downwards on the vertical scale of the diagram labelled “CORE”, falling back into myself, leaving the conscious (labelled cognitive on the diagram — my mistake) sphere and entering pure physical energy manifestation substance. It was overwhelming and creates a sense of vertigo.

This meditation allows me to understand my sphere of perception in general. I scan my energies and let any thought or feeling (ie. any form of manifestation) surface in order to deal with whatever would be there. Sometimes bad memories, uncomfortable thoughts that cause me pain rise (these can manifest themselves as dense energies that create physical manifestations in tension points such as the back and neck, for example) and I confront myself to them. It is basically an application of the conscious sphere onto the subconscious sphere of feeling. When there are no thoughts or feelings that arise, it creates a sense of peace and integrity within, the type of pure and clean energy that create positive vibes generally speaking.

The meditation that heads in the opposite direction, forward, upwards on the vertical scale illustrated by the CORE, is exploring the conscious sphere in terms of Empty Space, Void. It is a peaceful place that allows to measure the robustness of the Cognitive Sphere. Where the exploration of the subconscious sphere allows us to be conscious of our essential sincerity, the exploration of the cognitive sphere strengthens the applicability of analytical skills in conscious thinking, making the cognitive process faster and more efficient. It also allows for the clarity of perception to become more lucid and precise, coming closer to reality and objectivity, heading further away from subjectivity and error.

This whole meditative process has been identified through the application of the conscious sphere onto the subconscious sphere during my own meditative experiences. I learnt to understand what exactly happens when I perceive energies generally by using this method, and what I’m explaining to you today is a result of this method in researching the cognitive process I perceive.

The next phase would be to explain the ability to read other’s spheres and energies, but I’m sure you already have a slight idea of what that process might look like.

Thanks for reading! ~~

In continuation to my previous post describing the cognitive process…

As we have explored the different spheres of the human mind, we understand that the temporality of the process is a component which is crucial to the development of ideas into conscious thinking. An immediate reaction is most likely to have only scraped the surface of rationality, but holds a great component of sincerity for that same reason.

Sincerity is what I would like to discuss in this article. I believe it is a concept often dismissed as a naive approach to life that runs the great risk of vulnerability, and hence, pain.

Mankind often dissimulates sincerity by fear of the response it might receive. This is usually caused by the excessive proximity to the cognitive space, the lack of distance and time given to the cognitive process. The confrontation then takes place in the perceptive and conscious spheres, creating action in the perspective fields rather than in the cognitive fields. There is no 3rd unit being created, hence action is reabsorbed by the perceptive sphere, and objectivity is impossible. Fear of judgement usually keeps the other person’s perceptive field at proximity for conscious monitoring, in order to be able to respond in the event of judgement in the perceptive field.

Here is a diagram illustrating this point:

What I mean by this absence of creation is the void of productivity. Instead, a speculative field of how the other perceives the ego is being created, reinforcing the process, but being fruitless and devoid of meaning.

This happens very very very very often I find. It happens when one is seeking identity. The individual would scan other’s perceptive fields in order to find an answer to “who am I?” by asking “how do you perceive me?” whereas the process is unreliable and devoid of creation. This is because in absence of conscious confrontation, which is a continuous flow of idea exchanging translated thanks to expressive tools such as language that attempt to get as close to objectivity as possible, there can be no active creation. Perception is subjective, remember??

Well I am glad to say I found a solution to the problem. But the interesting part is that it isn’t going to come from the outside.

It seems obvious once you understand it, trust me. Cognitive spheres as a whole unit is what I like to call a Universe. Universes are by definition infinite, unique and impenetrable. Each individual has one thanks to the conscious sphere that allows a reflective distance to the subconscious sphere of feelings and the subjective sphere of perception.

I’ll let you have a guess at where the point of origin is, in other words where does this all come from. It’s really too obvious sometimes, but it all comes from within. Your body contains your entire Universe, ranging from the perceptive spheres to the subconscious and conscious spheres. I find this fact amazing. I call this a Universe because our intentionality fused with our consciousness is what makes us independent from our surroundings. What I call surroundings is everything that has to do with the world we live in that is not us, this obviously includes atoms and matter. Even if we can suppose that thought takes place in a material medium which is the brain, our intentionality and consciousness is something purely immaterial and is what by definition directs our freedom and will in thought process, conclusively resulting in decision making.

Hence, identity lies within. In order to reach and integrate it fully in order to actually incarnate consciously the idea of self-identification, one must accomplish the scanning of the emotional fields with the perceptive and conscious spheres.

This idea may seem very abstract at first, but that is simply because it is relative to the Universe in question to find the method. It can be done through meditation, through introspection, through material culture analysis, artistic expression followed by a conscious understanding of the manifestations, bref, a process of self exploration on the emotional manifestation level through conscious interpretation of the perception.

So this was an explanation of the subconscious hunt for identity and the symptomatic burying of sincerity in the process that commonly inhibits absolution.

In my next article, I shall explain my own interpretation of the process. =)

Thanks for reading! ~

We wander through this world, lost in our own universe of perception and cognitive space. This fact is universal to every conscious being.

___Introduction and context of the western cosmology : NATURALISM___

After the first Copernican Revolution that went against geocentrism, followed by the Darwinian theory of evolution tearing creationism apart, and the Freudian discovery of the subconscious, the faith in the church’s knowledge was repeatedly challenged and lead to a questioning of where mankind can initiate reliable knowledge.

In our western culture, what I allow myself to call the basic Cartesian dichotomy, I will argue in this piece, has shaped our mind set to draw a thick black line between

Body and Mind,

Women and Men,

Passion and Reason,

Nature and Culture.

According to Descartes, man can only reach truth through reason. In the context of this dichotomy, this clearly demonstrates the choice of reason over passion, hence slipping through the predominance of culture over nature.

Only societies affected by the Renaissance period would follow this mind set, this dismissal of emotion as being a corrupting factor that poisons the rational mind.

___The Cognitive Process : an Alliance Between the Emotional Subconscious and the Conscious Reasoning___

I have a different approach to suggest, and I do hope it satisfies your hungry brain and heart.

The left side, in other words Nature, Passion, Emotion and Women, are known to be intuitive and instinctive. Lars von Trier loves exploring this theme over and over again, and the symbolic nature of his characters leaves a lot of space for interpretation. This also holds the prejudice of being irrational and hot-blooded.

When analyzing this common idea, we are quick to notice that what we consider to be unreliable in terms of knowledge is its uncontrollable, enthralling, overwhelming nature that can provoke hope, desire, great speculation that leads to illusions and emotional conviction.

However, general feelings are the manifestation of an initial reaction: they hold a great component of reliability and truth in terms of our relationship to the outside world as they are our most immediate translation of an object which is exterior to ourselves. I speak of feelings and I include our 5 senses to be their mediator.

Feelings are usually incomprehensible and measured in quantitative value. A strong feeling can provoke love as it can provoke embarrassment, shame, admiration, hate, anger, all at the same time. They confuse us because they don’t make sense. However, they are a corporal translation of our deepest sincerity, filtered through our will to control or modify. This pressure we exercise onto our sincere manifestations is what usually distorts our judgment and often ends up screwing up relationships and performance on a plurality of levels. I have noticed on a daily basis that this is very often the source of a large number of people’s unhappiness. It really is a pity. This is shown by the emotional response process in the diagram underneath.

This is a diagram of the cognitive process:

We are all in our own perceptive conscious universes that cannot be compared in equal terms.

This is why it is so terribly important to not apply another’s thought directly to our own and vice-versa without processing this thought substance through our own perception

The universality of the individual consciousness should also portray in obvious terms how the enriching diversity of human kind lies in the incredibly wide variation of human perception.

A diagram of the cognitive and creative process in dialogue :

My point about the Cartesian dichotomy illustrates that an initial divorce between emotions and reason will inhibit rational thinking about feelings just as a general trend.

You need analytical thinking AND emotional consideration, because that’s how you reach the deepest level of conscious sincerity and learn how to live truly, en restant intègre à soi-même.

Alice, my sweet, let me tell you right now: You will never be happy unless you live sincerely.

A combination of reason and passion is critical. The process of life happens in such a way that ‘feeling’ is our initial response to the outside world that we must then filter through our critical thinking skills in order to have a conscious conception of our identity. Our freedom lies in the choices we make because they lie in the area of intentionality and consciousness. Being a slave to immediate reaction, by this I mean without the process of conscious thinking illustrated by the green and blue zones, will lead to thoughtless actions that can be very destructive.

I have consistently supported the view that consciousness is the key to many of current human issues. Two universes, or two units, create, in interaction, a virtual cognitive space where a third component is built thanks to this interaction. It is vital to remember that when interacting with another person. This also implies that taking stuff personally in debate is most of the time a strong and common misplacement in reception of dialogue – we are creating and building a cognitive space that is between and separate from two units. It is its own creation, its own unit that can be perceived differently depending on the perception of the viewer, but in itself is an independent abstraction of thought. When one is too close to the confrontation of two perceptive spheres in the cognitive space, the emotional filter gets thicker and corrupts the initial dialogue. This emotional field usually sits at the back of the mind, very dominant and strong influence but can be put aside by will and intentionality.

So here is an introductive explanation to the perceptive process of learning and comprehension that affects all humans in all fields of interaction and just life, in general. Part II is on its way.

Thanks for reading !
